Scottsdale's Mustang Library Will Reopen In March

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — After months of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic, Scottsdale's Mustang Library will soon open its doors to the public again. The library building is set to reopen on March 1 for patrons to browse the shelves and use its services, the city announced Wednesday. The building was closed to visitors in December 2020. But Mustang Library will be enforcing safety protocols: attendance will be limited in order to allow for physical distancing. Scottsdale's face covering mandate means that masks will be required as well. The library has asked for the public's patience and compliance with the protocols in order to keep the building open to the public and continue to provide services safely. The Mustang Library drive-thru will remain available for patrons, as it has during the majority of the pandemic. The reopening hours will be: Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.Friday through Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.The library will be closed on Sundays.
