The Carrollton and Villa Rica Golden City Lions Clubs, Lions International Foundation and the University of West Georgia Wellness Wolf Lab present a community partnership event. Join the Lions for Vision Screening and Diabetes Testing and Education during the annual convention March 26 and 27, 2021 March 26th: Free Vision Screening- 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Lighthouse Mobile Eye Clinic Dinner at Carrollton Center for the Arts- 6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. March 27th: Strides Walk- 7:30 a.m.- 8:30 a.m. Cabinet Meeting- 9:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Lunch/Testing- 12:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. The testing will screen for the following: Diabetes, Blood Sugar, Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides Lions Time with Larry Edwards- 2:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. Diabetes Education- 3:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. Diabetes is a manageable disease. Learn from experts from the University of West Georgia about type 2 diabetes, how to prevent it and some practical ways to manage it. Lions Banquet- 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
