No Foul Play In Death Of Woman Found Outside Children's Hospital

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A woman was found dead outside of Children's of Alabama Thursday morning. The body was discovered just before 7 a.m. near a parking deck behind the hospital in the 1600 block of 7th Avenue South. Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said detectives have confirmed foul play was not involved in the woman's death. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has not released the name of the woman or her cause of death.
