Description
Been fostering this little guy for 6 months, and now it's time he finds his forever home. He:
- Is housebroken (will sit by the door when he needs to go out)
- Knows how to sit, shake, and stay (for a treat), and we're currently working on lay down
- Will sit on walks if you stop, give him a light tug on his leash and tell him to sit
- Currently gets 2-3 walks a day (2-3 miles), or 1-2 walks with a trip to the dog park
- Loves to lay and stare out the window when he's not outside (he's content doing this for hours as he naps on and off throughout the day in between walks)
- Good/playful with other pups of all ages off leash, but can sometimes be a bit timid/scared with pups that are bigger or that try and assert dominance right away. Otherwise a normal 8 month old playful pup
- Usually does fine around kids, but would probably do better in a home with kids older than 5 that wouldn't startle, corner, or be (unknowingly) too rough him. Again, just a bit timid by nature so he prefers to be treated like the delicate royalty that he thinks he is. :)
- Has a bit of separation anxiety when left alone (Both fiancé and I have been working from home since we got him, so he's always had someone around). Might do best in a home with an older pup or with someone who will always be home.
- Is a total mix breed. Littermate brother had an ancestry test done and it came back terrier/lab/spaniel/doberman as the main breeds (with about 5-7 other breeds in the list as well).
- Overall he's a very good, playful, and affectionate 8 month old pup.
If interested, please respond and I will get you in touch with someone from the rescue organization we're working with to fill out an application.
Thanks!
