42 South is a Country/Rock band that performs in the Cleveland and Akron areas and are looking for a new female voice for lead and background vocals. We have been together for 7 years and would like to see that continue for many years to come. We really enjoy performing. It's not about the money, but our love of music and performing. We try to book a gig once a month thru the winter, than try and play twice a month in the warmer weather. We typically practice once a week. Our songs are upbeat and represent todays Country/Rock genre along with some old stuff. Artist include Jason Aldean, Chris Cagle, Blake Shelton, Cadillac Three, Dustin Lynch, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, etc. Female influences include Maranda Lambert, The Band Perry and Little Bigtown, We also play a few originals. We range in age from 48-60 but don't act like "old guys". Male lead and background vocals, lead, rhythm and acoustic guitarist's, a bass player and a drummer. We have our own equipment and a great practice space. We have a full PA system, mixer, monitors and lights. We have enough material to cover a four hour time slot. We’ve played the Medina County Fair and Rocky River Summer Fest and multiple appearances at: Rookies Raxx Legends Stella’s music Club Dino’s bar and grille VFW halls Hammers Chuggers American Legion
