I'm writing this with a heavy heart as I believe I unfortunately need to find a new home for Boomer, a three year old pit/lab that I previously re-homed off of here back in November of 2020. He's neutered, no chip and potty trained. I don't know much on his previous life but I believe this doggo was definitely abused. The past owner claimed he was friendly with other dogs but that hasn't been the case. There hasn't been any dog fights or serious biting done to another dog but he likes to charge and if close enough he does snip at them, often barks loud (the only time he ever barks in my time of owning him). He's super cuddly and sweet with humans though, he likes to greet strangers (the ones who don't walk out of their way when they see him coming) out on walks but he doesn't ever play whether we're outside or inside. He seems to enjoy going on walks, hikes and adventures though but he doesn't do much when inside the apartment. He's still very skittish to loud noises, sometimes pees due to nervousness/excitement and can be weird when it comes to eating/drinking, he likes to eat/drink when nobody is around. I have his rabies certificate via email for anyone interested. I have a cat who won't leave my bedroom area due to his presence so it's been very tough trying to get the two to get along. I truly believe Boomer is a friendly doggo to other animals I just think he needs training and I unfortunately do not have the time to give him the work/help he needs. I also believe he needs a bigger living space than a 1,000 sq ft apartment with no yard to play, run and roam in. I am asking for a re-homing fee, feel free to ask me any questions
