As the Landscape Construction Foreman you'll coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference for both workers and managers, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. You will need to have a solid set of leadership skills and the ability to direct the work of others, all while making quick decisions. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else. Safety is first, Quality is second and Speed is third in importance for every project. Other general benefits include: • $500 Driver Hiring Bonus for those with a clean driving record and valid driver's license. • Employee Referral Program can earn you up to $2,250 when you refer a qualified friend • Bonuses • Company appreciation cookouts and gatherings with gifts and prizes • Reimbursement for many educational programs, including continuing ed, certifications, licenses, and others • Fast-paced environment working outdoors • Overtime available seasonally • Snow removal and additional winter work Education & Experience • High school diploma or GED required • 3+ years of experience working in landscaping and hardscaping required • Must have 3 years foreman experience • Must have heavy equipment operation experience • Experience in reading blueprints, plans and scale drawings Qualifications • Must have a valid driver's license • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues as they arise • Ohio Certified Nursery Technician a plus Work schedule You should be available to work the following schedule: • 50-55 hours a week, April through October. • 25-45 hours a week, November through March. • Available to work during winter months for snow removal.
