Description

What’s up, everyone! Thanks for your interest in Pieri Farm. Here’s a quick rundown: we’re located in Bucks County and operate on 27-acres. We start all of our plants from seed in our greenhouse, have a CSA program & farmstand, and sell to a variety of customers including 3 of our own restaurants. We planted a vineyard in 2019, and have an expanding orchard, apiary, and a rentable farmhouse through airbnb. We’re a small, hardworking team looking for individuals with a background in agriculture and those who are passionate about learning. You’ll be directly working alongside me and other employees from our restaurant hospitality group. We are looking for a couple different things: 1. A consistent, full-time person to work 5 days/wk alongside me throughout the season 2. Consistent part-time help 2-3 days/wk throughout the season. Let us know what works for you. The work is both challenging and rewarding. It’s an awesome way to get in touch with nature, sweat it out, & help us build a healthier community. We’re looking for driven individuals with the following skills or interests: - Previous agricultural experience is a plus, but we value ambition and the desire to learn almost as much - Seeding, transplanting, weeding, cultivating, and harvesting crops - Assisting with installations such as vineyard trellis, hoophouse assembly, etc. - The ability to stand, bend, or crouch for extended periods of time - Our CSA program has two delivery days per week. This process includes harvesting, washing, and packaging produce. - Occasional transporting of produce to the Conshohocken, PA area using the company van - General property maintenance - Assistance with airbnb house turnovers Full-Time Hours: 40-50hrs/wk Rate: $15-$17/hr DOE Part-Time Hours: 2-3 days/week Rate: $14/hr It’s truly a fulfilling accomplishment to see an entire farming season come full circle. We’re looking forward to bringing in new, positive energy this year & look forward to hearing from you! -Farmer Andrea
