I am a full-time working mom of 3 kids and we are all working and learning remotely right now. I am seeking affordable childcare for my 11 yr old on Thursdays and Fridays from 9am-3pm. Your main job will be to help him stay engaged in his online lessons with his teachers. He has ADHD and goes off task a lot since online learning has lost its luster after a year. I need someone here who can help him stay on task while I work. You do not need to be a professional ADHD specialist or a specialized tutor, but you do have to be great with kids and have some experience with how ADHD kids operate. No cooking, cleaning, or food prep required. A typical day will look like this: hang out with him while he is in his online classes, occasional help with assignments, and play card games or go play in the snow with him during breaks. You will serve as a big-brother, big-sister role and have excellent references, reliable transportation, and be reliable. A sense of humor is a plus! Pay rate is $15/hr.
