Welder – Fitter Position Narrows Marina in Tacoma is looking to hire an experienced Welder – Fitter to construct building parts and frames. Great atmosphere and interesting projects. Must be a self-starter, professional in the way they present and conduct themselves, and pass a drug screen. Must be proficient with Mig, Stick, Plasma, Oxy/Acc, and Iron Worker. Primarily working with metal but some stainless and aluminum. 24.00/hour starting, Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Holiday, Paid Time Off, and 401(k). Job Duties Include, but not limited to: 1. Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble structural forms, such as building parts, according to blueprints and knowledge of welding and metallurgy. Must select equipment and plans, layout, assembly, and weld, applying knowledge of geometry, physical properties of metal machining weld shrinkage, and welding techniques. 2. Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. 3. Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. 4. May assemble parts by bolting and riveting. 5. May repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. Please send resumes to email!
