Description

We are excited to offer this new online workshop. The Creating Circle is an online process art workshop to help you generate creativity and access your inner wisdom in a virtual community. Join us as we explore memory, tradition and hope based on the theme of the kitchen table. In these times of unknown and challenge, activating our creativity through art making can help us be present to what is and imagine what might be. In this 90-minute virtual workshop we will explore the power of art making in community as a tool for personal and collective renewal. Using the Jewish Studio Process (JSP) – a unique methodology combining practices from the field of art therapy with a reimagined approach to learning and spirituality - we will activate our intuition, imagination, and creativity. Open to all - no art talent or Jewish experience required. Lead by: Ann Bohrer and Ross Berman, Creating Circle Facilitators After an extended creative hiatus, Ann re-ignited her creative/expressive self via process painting workshops with Stewart Cubley and The Painting Experience, and found a spiritual and process art home in The Jewish Studio Project. She is a JSP Facilitator. Ross has pursued process art making for almost 20 years. He has worked with Stewart Cubley, Pat B. Allen, and others exploring this dynamic approach. A native of the Boston-area, he is a Jewish artist and JSP Facilitator. Suggested donation: $20, more if you can, less if you can't. Register on our website
