Martin Marietta is currently looking to fill a maintenance position at both our Stamper and Randolph Mines in Kansas City. This position involves repairing and maintaining stationary machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems, shakers, pumps, gearboxes, etc. May also be asked to operate mobile equipment, fixed plant equipment, and other mobile equipment as necessary. Essential Functions -Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plant equipment -Mechanically inclined on a wide variety of hand tools and power tools -Ability to weld, cut, and perform minor fabrication on plant -Ability to work in outdoor environment and in elevated areas -Other duties as assigned Work Environment -This job operates 100% of the time in an underground or surface mine setting. This role frequently operates heavy equipment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work -This is a full-time, night shift position that may require long hours and weekend work.
