NOTE: This is a FULL-TIME position. Please do not apply if you cannot work 40 hours/week. Tom Adams Windows & Carpet is looking for a motivated and capable warehouse associate to join a growing team. We are specifically interested in applicants with flooring experience in either installation or carpet machine operation. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. This is a great opportunity with an expanding company in the home building and remodeling industry. Job Description Participate in shipping and receiving of all goods and verify accuracy of shipments Maintain inventory control and organization Operate carpet cutting machine, forklifts, and pallet jacks (will train/certify) Make deliveries to customer homes and job sites Able to lift 75 pounds Fill material/supply orders for contractors and other stores Perform routine maintenance checks on company trucks Meet a high expectation for quality and accuracy Requirements 1-3 years experience in warehouse or home improvement field preferred but we will train. Full Time availability from 7AM to 4PM with some flexibility. Valid Driver's License with clean driving record No suspensions, DUIs, or Reckless Driving for four (4) years. Ability to meet weekly and quarterly goals for production and accuracy. Ability to follow written and oral instructions High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to learn company procedures and practices Must be able to learn operation of heavy machinery including carpet cutting machine, forklifts, and motorized pallet jacks. Commitment to completing work of highest quality and achieving company goals.
