Ball & Chain: The Janis Joplin Concert Experience band is seeking a full-time drummer. We’ve been going strong close to 2 decades now and we will continue. Do you like Janis Joplin? Do you enjoy playing Blues Rock, Classic Rock, Psychedelic Rock, & More? Are you available and able to play most weekends?? Would you like to get paid on an average: 75% of shows played pay is $100. 15% of shows played pay is over $125 and more 10% of shows played pay is $80. (negotiated shows due to Covid mandates etc) Are you willing and able to attend scheduled practices at our practice space in Elyria, & learn the material in a timely manner?? Are you a licensed driver, able to drive, & or travel with band occasionally, out of town to areas like Nelsons Ledges in Garrettsville OH, Hart Plaza, Detroit MI, & Hollywood Lanes, Pittsburgh PA?? We are an over 17 years ESTABLISHED, actively performing out band, with contracted gigs for 2021 & more. We are seeking a dedicated drummer, that WANTS to & LOVES to play out with a dedicated established band whose schedule demands most weekends availability & sometimes more. To clarify, we bust ass music wise but have fun doing so. We have a backup drummer that can cover for some shows, like Tues Bike Nights, if your day job can’t accommodate, vacation, sick days, etc. No heavy drinking or heavy drug use will be tolerated.
