Landscape Maintenance Working Supervisor 3 Acre Estate in Lemon Heights/Tustin Hills, Orange County, CA Prefer Licensed Landscape contractor with minimum of 5 years experience. Supervise and work alongside 2 landscape maintenance personnel. Must have knowledge and experience with: 1) maintain and use all gas powered equipment including hedge trimmer with extension, mower, edger; 2) cloud based irrigation system including drip lines and in ground, repair and replace valves, lines, heads; 3) drought tolerant planting including desert gardens and succulents; 4) knowledge of plants and plant needs; 5) ground and in pot planting regarding soil, fertilizer, additives, control of diseases. Minimize use of insecticides in favor of other care. Knowledge of other trades such as minor plumbing and electrical is helpful. Light painting. Work is 40 hours per week, 7am – 3:30pm, M – F. Medical-vision-dental health plans available for which the employee pays 25% of the premium (about $144 per month) and the employer pays about $430 per month; 401K is available. After 90 days on the job, each year there are: 8 paid holidays; 3 – 7 paid sick days depending upon years employed; 10 paid vacation days are earned each year. Clothing allowance for pants, shirts, boots and winter jacket. Payroll is each 2 weeks by direct deposit to your bank account with appropriate state/federal deductions. If job is offered, employer will then request drug tests and criminal history report. No smoking onsite. Cell phone use for employer’s business purposes only. Return personal calls during lunch or break. CA driver’s license. Use of supervisor’s pick-up truck with mileage reimbursement at Federal Rate of $0.56/mile for local travel on behalf of employer.
