G&H Construction is looking for a full-time, year round, skilled carpenter and carpenter's assistant/general laborer. We are a residential construction and remodeling company with a small crew looking to bring on an experienced carpenter to round out our team. We're also looking to hire a carpenter's assistant or laborer with experience preffered, but willing to train the right canditate. We do basement finishing, kitchens, bathrooms, building decks, and more. Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria: Ideal Candidate for Skilled Carpenter: Minimum 3-5 years carpentry experience Framing to finishing work Provide their own tools (with exception of saws and large equipment) Be able to work independently, self-start, and complete jobs with minimal instruction General knowledge of building codes Have a positive attitude and communicate well with clients when needed Value the quality of their work and keep a neat work space Have own reliable transportation Have valid driver’s license No drug or alcohol issues Ideal Candidate for Carpenter's Asst./Laborer: 1-2 years experience (willing to train the right candidate with less experience) Assist Carpenter, moving heavy materials, basic measuring/cutting skills, demolition Provide own tools (with exception of saws and large equipment) Be able to work independently, self-start, and complete jobs with minimal instruction General knowledge of building codes Have a positive attitude and communicate well with team members Value the quality of their work and keep a neat work space Have own reliable transportation Have valid driver’s license No drug or alcohol issues What we offer: Competitive pay based on level of experience Work 40 hours a week throughout the year Possibility of overtime and weekends if desired W-2 Pay Work for a small business that performs quality work with repeat business If you qualify for the above please send your resume or your work experience, dates of employment, and 2 references and we’ll contact you for an interview if you seem like a great fit for our team.
