For over 86 years, Stokes Fish Company has bought and sold fresh seafood. Our sister company, Lake Trucking Company is over 56 years old and operates a fleet of refrigerated tractor trailers, picking up seafood products in Miami, bringing them to Leesburg and then transporting them across the United States. On the way back, we carry fresh meat products back to Florida. We have continued working through the pandemic and to keep up with the demand our warehouse needs more dedicated and dependable workers: Warehouse Freight Handlers Able bodied workers to move product Fish Handlers Fish Cutters (experienced only) Working with our internal customers and support where required will keep you challenged and busy. Responsibilities and Duties These positions include wrapping, tagging, boxing, lifting (60 lbs or more) and receiving and pulling detailed orders for the production area. Other general labor duties may be assigned. Successful candidates must be available to work mandatory Tuesdays and Saturdays. Lake Trucking Company participates in the Drug Free Workplace program. As such, we require successful passing of a pre-employment drug screen. We also conduct background checks on all new hires.
