CAB Signs, a local sign company in Brooklyn, New York is looking for a Shipping Clerk to add to our team. We have been deemed an essential business during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are looking to hire this position immediately. The regular schedule of this position is five days a week, from 10 AM - 4 PM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all of the duties involved in the shipping process. These duties include : -Ships all packages/materials by reviewing the order for accuracy, making packing decisions, determining appropriate shipping method, and checking for payment as needed. -Adding "enhancements" to orders. Some examples include adding tape, magnets, pins to complete the order. -Receives all packages by accepting deliveries, matching the order to the packing documents, and ensuring that the received items are correct and complete -Processes data entry by entering tracking numbers/orders/UPS tracking numbers into appropriate systems for record-keeping. Required Experience: -Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development -3-5 years of experience as a shipper -Strong communication skills
