Job Description Parking lot sweeping company looking for great individuals to join our team. Individuals must be open to new challenges and be willing to apply best practices to overcome these challenges. The open position is for a Parking Lot Sweeper in the Placer to Sacramento area. This is a full-time night position. Responsibilities and Duties • Operate sweeper vehicle and use associated equipment and tools to sweep parking lots including curb lines, asphalt entrances, sides and rear areas of assigned properties • Utilize a hand-held/backpack blower to clear storefront walkways and to clean curb lines, bumper stops and other areas the sweeper is unable to reach • Hand-pick large debris from planters • Clear debris from rights-of-ways • Clean storm drains and inlets • Manually clean grass areas and islands • Change trash can liners • Report illegal dumping or other property issues to management as directed Requirements • Valid Driver's License with a clean DMV record (5+ years) • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. overhead • Experience driving a pick-up type vehicle • Excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills • Strong map reading skills • Mechanically inclined • Must pass a drug screen and physical • Willing to work nights
