*PLEASE READ WHOLE THING* Looking to rehome my 8 year old long haired tortie. We cannot afford to keep up with her, unfortunately, and we want her to have a better life. Her groomer was on maternity leave for a while and then after she came back we couldn't afford to groom her due to the pandemic. I've tried to very carefully take care of some of her matting, but they are very close to the skin. We also suspect she may have diabetes. I took her to the vet and overdrafted my account getting her medicine for an upper respiratory infection and I was unable to pay to get her blood tested for diabetes, unfortunately. I suspect she has diabetes because she drinks A LOT and urinates A LOT. Mostly in her litter box. She has accidents occasionally. She also has dandruff on her back that she has a special shampoo for. Given all these troubles with her I will say- she is a VERY sweet cat. She might be a little scared and hiss and bat at you for the first couple of weeks, but as long as you're patient with her she is so sweet. She is a very laid back lazy cat and loves quiet, so kids should be careful around her. She lets me give her baths and everything. I love this cat and this was a very hard decision to rehome her. She will come with her shampoo. Small adoption fee to make sure you're serious.
