Looking for Full-Time maintenance personnel for resort properties on area beaches. Saturdays Required. Below is the job description for the position. -Graduation from high school and minimum of 6-12 months experience in general maintenance positions. -Must be able to do the following: Set a toilet, hang a fan, change an ice maker. -Pool Experience a plus!! -Good mechanical skills with general knowledge of repair work in several of the trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and A/C units. -Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools. -Necessary strength and physical ability to perform a variety of repair tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds. Employee is regularly required to stand and frequently required to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively to guest or other employees. -Employee must be capable of working in an unsupervised environment and follow the directions of their immediate supervisor. There is no such thing as something not being a part of your job. All employees are expected to help when asked. This is a resort atmosphere so appearance must be clean and maintained.
