Local construction company is seeking a yard technician to join our team. We are seeking an individual who is organized, reliable and motivated, with basic knowledge of hand tool and equipment maintenance. Summary Main duties include organizing tools and equipment, maintaining yard and surrounding work areas clean and organized. Preparing equipment for field technicians. This job is located in San Martin, CA. Responsibilities • Clean and inspect tools and equipment daily. • Load tools and equipment onto company vehicles. • Ensure supplies are replenished and the Yard is organized and free of any debris. • Organize tool room, keep inventory of tools. • Report any broken tools to shop manager. • Perform other tasks assigned by management. Skills, Abilities and Requirements • Punctual and reliable. • Team player attitude, ability to take direction. • Bilingual (Spanish). • Basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge. • Follow safety rules and guidelines. • Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred • Must project a professional attitude towards fellow employees and customers. • Valid CA Driver License with a clean driving record. The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
