The Oakland Marinas is hiring full-time Maintenance Technicians for the maintenance of docks and facilities for five marinas on the Oakland Estuary. A working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting is desired. Experience with welding is a plus. A valid California drivers license with an insurable driving record is essential. Job benefits include paid holidays, sick days, medical coverage and vacation. Salary range $16.00-$18.00/hour, commensurate with experience. · Resolve and Complete work orders in a timely manner · Pick up trash if seen on grounds · Respond to requests and provide exceptional customer service to our tenants · Having own basic hand tools important, but not necessary · Must be comfortable working around water · Good communications skills are important in addition to following directions · Multi-tasking skills
