PASCO COUNTY, FL — The Pasco County Department of Health announced that it has now vaccinated 59,313 people as of Monday. According to the DOH-Pasco, 34,879 people have received their first dose and 24,446 people have completed their second dose. Vaccinations For Dental, Medical Staff Additionally, DOH-Pasco is expanding its outreach efforts to dental and medical offices that are not affiliated with hospitals. Practice managers are asked to complete a survey for staff who want to receive the vaccine. The survey will close on Friday, Feb.26. This information will be used to assess interest and identify who wants to receive a vaccination. Each practice should assign a point of contact to complete the survey. The DOH-Pasco will follow up with information for how staff can get vaccinated. DOH-Pasco does not yet have a time frame for when the vaccine will be offered to health care providers that complete the survey. Once the assessment is complete, the DOH-Pasco will establish the best method to provide vaccinations to the health care providers who qualify. Health care workers will be required to present an employee ID or other proof of employment in the health care field. County-Run Vaccination Clinics DOH-Pasco continues to use CDR Maguire Health and Medical to schedule residents for coronavirus vaccines. Residents can go online to the patientportalfl.com or call 1-844-770-8548 to create an account at any time. But appointments are only available at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The DOH-Pasco vaccination sites do not show up on the CDR Maguire Patient Portal unless appointments are available.
