On-Site Solution Provider (SSP) With Offices in WA, OR, CO, NJ, PA, Waste Recovery Systems (WRS) is a leading provider of environmental and sustainability services specifically designed for the apartment, condominium, and multi-family living communities. As the properties’ On-Site Solution Provider (SSP), the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the refuse, recycling, and bulk item removal program. Specific job duties include but may not be limited to: 1. Managing Trash, Recycling, & Bulk Item Areas Daily (Mon – Fri) · Re-locating Trash & Recycling containers to designated areas within the property to be serviced by contracted trash and recycling service providers on scheduled service days. · Leveling of trash and recycling containers in each enclosure or room · Returning all containers, once service has been completed, to designated trash and recycling enclosure areas and or trash and recycling rooms. · Inspection and general cleaning of all enclosure areas and or trash and recycling rooms. · When necessary utilizing property owned equipment to move containers or empty containers (i.e. Trash Train Carts, Compactors) · Report any concerns regarding condition or repair needs of equipment. · When necessary assist in the removal of bulky items from residences. 2. Managing Bulk Item Removal Service Daily (Mon – Fri) in coordination with WRS Drivers · Reporting of specific bulk items within designated areas for pickup · General cleaning of designated bulk areas · Manage daily and or schedule as needed pickups of all bulk items with WRS Driver/s 3. Compliance · Ensure guidance related to acceptable and non-acceptable recycling items (per local municipality / state guidelines) are clearly posted within the recycling areas and maintained to reflect any changes. · Manage contamination within recycling areas to avoid fines or fees. · Work in partnership with the property manager and maintenance teams to communicate any challenges being faced within the day-to-day management of the refuse and recycling program. 4. Miscellaneous · Maintain vigilance related to any special needs the property management and residences may have in order to promote WRS value-add services. · Working hours (7AM-4:00 PM M-F) with occasional on-call weekend hours · May be asked to assist WRS drivers at neighboring properties.
