Metro-Atlanta tree service is looking for: Full time (5 days/week- year round) Driver/Groundsman position available. Applicants MUST have a valid driver's license and clean driving record with experience driving medium-duty single axil trucks with trailer; operating manual transmission is a plus. Applicant MUST be punctual (that means on time EVERYDAY), have transportation to/from the Snellville location, be a responsible team player, ability to handle physical workload, must be able to take and pass a pre-employment drug screening the same day. Driver's are Tree Workers are responsible and are for conducting duties associated with tree work. Weekly pay, commensurate with experience. Safety is first! Employee's skills and duties are: • Being a reliable member of the team responsive to visual cues and hand signals from the Climber and acting promptly with ground support. • Keeping the work area clear of debris, cleaning up limbs and branches as they are brought down in tree cutting work. Raking the area clear to maintain the safety zone. • Lining up branches and piling appropriately for loading into the Chipper. • Keeping tools in the staging area and safe zone. • Assuring that all lines are kept clear at all times. • Being attentive to the Climber's cues throughout the job, always keeping their eyes on the Climber.
