Too many scammers out there, trying to prey on vulnerable people. About a year ago, my dog got out and I posted an ad for her here. I also received an email a few days later from someone who said they had her and if I wired them money, they'd give her back. What they didn't know was that she came back home on her own later the same night, but I forgot to remove the 'lost' ad on Craigslist... But I wondered how many people, who are so desperate to get their pets back and are emotionally vulnerable actually fall for that. What a horrible thing to do to someone!!
