Dear Editor, Help close the opportunity gap in Fairfield County on February 25! Fairfield County's Community Foundation is eagerly preparing for its 8th annual Giving Day onFebruary 25 and needs your help supporting local nonprofits addressing disparities in ourcommunities. Fairfield County's Giving Day is the county's biggest philanthropic event of theyear. As the current health and humanitarian crisis continues, we are looking to the communityto help support our local partners. Bank of America is once again collaborating with Fairfield County's Community Foundation forthis impactful event to fuel economic and social progress and strengthen our communities.Giving Day directly supports services for those in need, as well as programs that enhance ourcounty's vitality, including youth and education groups, food banks, the arts, and environmentalorganizations. I hope everyone joins me in supporting Giving Day this year on February 25. How do youdonate? Easy – visit fcgives.org between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on February 25. Over $1.6million was raised in 2020 by 12,666 donors for 390 nonprofits, and with your help, we arehoping to beat last year's efforts.
