Hiring landscape labor for residential design/build with a small company - Arid Sky Landscape and Design LLC. We’re hell-bent on custom landscapes and operate by referral only. Starting pay between $19 - $22 depending on experience and qualifications. Promotion to an entry-level foreman is possible, depending on job performance. Looking to hire a small and tight-knit crew to build projects from spring to fall. The work is tough, varied and never dull. We’re looking for motivated, hard-working employees with humility and a desire to learn. Skills and experience are desired, but not essential. Responsibilities: Work 40 hours/week at various job sites throughout the Denver metro area. Mostly in the west metro area (Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Golden, etc). Build high-quality landscape elements as instructed: - Hardscapes, retaining walls, steps, etc - Install plants, sod, irrigation, mulch, aggregate, etc - Reshape existing grade and install drainage systems Positive interaction with crew members, team leaders, neighbors and clients. Operate hand tools and heavy machinery as needed. Skid steer, mini-x, trencher, chainsaw and so on. Qualifications: Strong work ethic, positive attitude and a low-maintenance personality. The ability to carefully listen and a willingness to learn. These attributes outweigh experience, skills and bravado any day. An emphasis on your safety and the safety of other crew members. The ability to lift and carry 80 pounds a short distance (e.g. bag of concrete). Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outcomes. Must have reliable transportation and show up on time. The ability to perform sometimes strenuous tasks in an unpredictable climate.
