Learn the basics of woodworking from an experienced instructor to start your journey into woodworking. Before getting down to business in a woodshop, you've got to know the basics. Woodshop Basics covers the safe, and productive operation of major shop tools while milling a piece of hardwood. This course is a power tool intro for those looking to learn how to properly operate a table saw, planer, jointer and more.  Courses are limited to 10 people per date. Please contact The Maker's Space directly to ask about scheduling or other availability. We also offer some other beginner and intermediate courses! COVID-19 POLICY We follow the North Carolina State Mandated Covid-19 guidelines.
