POINT PLEASANT BORO – Point Pleasant Boro police have issued a notification to residents intended to clarify how to park on a two-way street. Residents and visitors of Point Pleasant Boro are reminded to park parallel with the edge of the roadway headed in the direction of traffic, on the right side of the road. The curbside of the vehicle must be within 6 inches of the edge of the roadway. The police answered this question: Is it legal to park facing in the wrong direction on a two-way street? Not it is not. On streets that have been marked or signed for angle parking, vehicles must be parked at the angle to the curb designated.
