31 year old Jazz pianist and newbie composer in search of some players in the Virginia, DC and Maryland areas to jam with and potentially more depending how things work out! Ideally upright bass, drums and trumpet (or sax). I'm by no means a professional pianist or jazz composer at the current time, but my personal approach is very much inspired by the likes of Thelonious Monk, Ray Charles, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Miles Davis and Charles Mingus.
