I do not understand these people

I am tying to rent a room I have been looking on looking for a room some say they can not find a room one lady said she has been looking a long time and really needs a room said she has 9 cats really I wonder why she can not find a room a lot of these people have dogs some more then one and cats I do not understand why some people make it hard for them to get a room well just wondering some of these pets damage your things sofa chairs carpets thing like that any way I like to have a roommate but no pets
