Fugitive Task Force Seeks Info On Suspected NH Fentanyl Dealer

CONCORD, NH — The U.S. Marshals-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is searching for a Granite Stater accused of bail violations after being arrested on a drug-dealing conspiracy charge. Joshua Joseph George is 39, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs around 200 lbs. He has brown hair and eyes. Jeffrey White, a deputy marshal, said George had a number of tattoos including the word "Trinity" and a heart on his right arm, a handprint on his left arm, and a rose and moon on his chest. Officials have been looking for George since Dec. 21, 2020. "A warrant was issued for George out of the U.S. District Court of New Hampshire for bail violations, stemming from his underlying charge of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute controlled drugs (fentanyl)," White said. "George was last seen in the Somersworth, New Hampshire, area and the Gray, Maine, area where he is known to have family, friends and associates." According to superior court records, George was arrested on reckless conduct, criminal threatening against a person, simple assault, attempted simple assault, and criminal mischief charges in Rochester in April 2016. In October 2017, he pleaded guilty to the reckless conduct and mischief charges and received a suspended sentence. In July 2018, George was arrested in Newington on a controlled drug: acts prohibited charge but that case was nolle prossed four months later.
