ST. CHARLES, IL — The St. Charles District 303 school board on Monday interviewed seven candidates who are seeking to fill a seat left vacant by a former member's unexpected resignation. The candidates answered questions from board members during a three-hour meeting Monday night before the board went into a closed, executive session to choose former member Michael Bryant's replacement. Kane County Surpasses 50K Coronavirus Cases The board interviewed seven candidates — Jeff Carpenter, Joseph Donaldson, Joseph Lackner, Jesse Mezera, Jennifer Schuh, Elizabeth Skubisz-Doren and Kelly Taylor — from a field of 22 applicants. Board President Nick Manheim said he would reach out to the candidates Tuesday to inform them of the board's decision, but no public announcement had been made by noon Tuesday.
