In lieu of hosting Kids Day Out (KDO) this year, the Geoscience Academy is offering a spring break take home science kit for K-5th graders. Looking for activities this spring break for your K-5th grader? The Geoscience Academy at Olathe North is offering Kids Day Out activities in a bag. Think of it as sanity for parents, stimulation for kids. The kit includes supplies for 7 science experiments and crafts you can do at home; written instructions, photos, and observation worksheets; links to video instructions; links to additional science activity ideas; and a fun snack. Kids will learn more about plant and water cycles, spiders, water striders, salt crystals, upcycling, and more. Cost per kit is $25. Deadline to order is Friday, March 5. You will need to pick up your kit at Olathe North between 4:00-6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 10 or Thursday, March 11. For questions, email [email protected].
