Rhode Island - Covid Response Hackathon - April Registration is now open for Covid-19 Response Innovation Hackathon hosted by NEMIC (www.nemicenter.com). A lack of preparedness exacerbated the challenges that COVID-19 presented regionally, nationally, and globally. How do we ensure that we are better prepared for the next pandemic, what do we need to do on a personal level, how do we better prepare our corporations, and what could institutions and hospitals do better in the future? This hack will address these issues in hopes to create new ideas, products, systems, and services focused on the future, such that we do not repeat the past. *Please make sure to sign up on our office website. Official registration is required at https://www.nemicenter.com/covidhack *This Hackathon is free to and only open to RI residents, students, and employees or RI based employers only due to our partnership with the Back to Work Grant. *We are hosting two Hackathons one on March 12-14 and the other on April 16-18. Participants can sign up for one of the dates or both. There will be $3,000 in cash prizes awarded at each event.
