Iowa Demolition is looking for skilled Demolition Laborers to join our team. We offer a dynamic team-oriented work environment with a great benefits package. Demolition Laborer/Driver Duties: • Responsible for dismantling concrete, drywall, sawing and breaking of building materials. • Debris removal. • Safely operate hand and power tools. • Lifts, carries and holds building materials, tools and supplies. • Digs, spreads, and levels dirt and gravel. • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the demolition and cleanup process. • Interact closely with peers and job Foreman to effectively and safely complete all demolition tasks. • Maintain a safe working environment and compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines in addition to other federal, state and local regulations. • Clean tools, equipment and work area. • Complete specific projects, assignments and other tasks as assigned. • May occasionally be required to drive a company vehicle. • Out of town travel is required. Basic Qualifications • 1-2 years construction or demolition experience preferred. • Basic knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien status or Authorization to work in the U.S. • Must have a clean MVR.
