Williamston nc has a new community garden. Our goal is to help provide fresh healthy produce to those most vunerable in our community. Our garden hit the ground running mid 2020 with our main garden ribbon cutting and a local student building us a blessing box to further help our community needs, but we have a long way to go and big plans. We have applied for our charity status but need to raise funds to complete the paperwork, and this year's spring goals include completing our community beds for people whod like to grow their own but don't have space, and plant a food forest, a multilayered sustainable orchard, to further expand the kinds of healthy food we can offer people, especially long term.
