BOLINGBROOK, IL — Bolingbrook has been reporting less than 100 cases of the coronavirus over the last two weeks for the first time since November, according to recent data available from the Will County Health Department. However, the number of cases for the week of Feb. 15 has increased to 88 from 82 the week prior.
The village still continues to have the third-highest number of new coronavirus cases in Will County.
During the week of Feb. 15, Bolingbrook reported 88 new cases, following Plainfield with 97 and Joliet with 133 cases. Throughout November, December and January, the village has had the third-most number of weekly cases. The weekly number of cases reported were:

According to data gathered from the Illinois Department of Public Health, as of Monday, the east side of the village (zip code 60440) has an average 7-day rolling COVID-19 positivity rate of 5.68 percent, whereas the west side (zip code 60490) is at 4.76 percent.
The WCHD website reports the number of new cases during the week of Feb. 15 in each zip code as:
60440 - 6260490 - 25 As of Tuesday, Will County has 65,174 COVID-19 cases, an increase of 135 from Monday, while the number of deaths increased by one to 891.
