Program OutlineDay 1: Program overview, guitar cost, safety rules, body selection, headstock designing, body carving, cutting of headstock, drilling and/or filling holes, sanding.
Day 2: Neck assembly, truss rod installation, glue-up, fret calculation and marking.
Day 3: Soldering, scale length and fret installation, hardware installation, neck installation to body.
Day 4: Finishing (including any dyes and oiling)
Day 5: Nut installation, stringing, set up and polish, and play test.
Program will run Monday to Friday from 6pm - 9pm (bring your own dinner or snack). Makeup days will be available if students run behind schedule.Cost Per Person: $995, which includes all supplies.Guitars will be built from kits that require construction of the neck (excluding the carving of the neck). Kit-included bodies have already been routed and shaped.
Minimum Group Size: 5 (too few participants will warrant refunds of any deposits)
