DAVIDSON, NC — Numerous cases of damage to personal property and larceny were reported to town police this week, including one case of graffiti, according to the most recent DPD blotter.
DPD issued nearly three dozen citations this past week for charges related to speeding, displaying a fake or revoked tag and driving with a revoked license.
Davidson Police made no arrests last week.
Here are the crimes reported to DPD between Feb. 16 - Feb. 22, 2021:
Feb. 16 — Damage to personal property, Pine Road Feb. 17 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Lake Park Drive Feb. 17 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Sunnyhill Grove Road Feb. 20 — Damage to property (graffiti), Eden Street Feb. 21 — Possession of marijuana, Interstate 77 Feb. 21 — Financial identity fraud, Bartlette Creek Drive Feb. 21 — Damage to personal property, North Harbor Place DPD officers issued citations including the following charges between Feb. 16 - Feb. 22, 2021:
Speeding — 10 Driving while license revoked — 3 Expired tag — 8 Expired inspection — 4 Displaying a fictitious tag — 1 Driving with no insurance — 1 Displaying a revoked tag — 1 Failure to decrease speed to avoid a collision — 1 Failure to register vehicle with DMV — 1 Failure to stop at flashing red light — 1 Failure to display tag — 1 No operator's license — 2 Stop light violation — 1 SEE ALSO:
