Got to love the liberals. NEVER allow things like facts and/or truth to get in the way of their story telling. Republicans aren't trying to take away anyone's right to a peaceful protest. It is guaranteed in our constitution... along with free speech (that includes speech liberals find offensive) as well as the right to own firearms. You might want to read the constitution some time. Much like everything, there are right and wrong ways to go about things. There are steps and procedures to immigrate to this country. No one is more welcoming than this country when it comes to immigration. Don't believe it, then read what it takes to immigrate to other countries and the penalties imposed upon those that illegally cross into a country. When it comes to protests, there are right and wrong ways as well. A protest requires a permit. That isn't new. This also means that you aren't allowed to obstruct and/or impede traffic. You aren't allowed to stop traffic on the freeway and then get butt hurt when you are run over by a truck. There is a major difference between a peaceful protest and a riot. What we seen over the summer was rioting. Burning, looting and even murdering citizens is NOT guaranteed in the constitution. Downtown Portland looks like a third world shit hole and the majority of that was perpetrated by what has become the domestic terrorist organizations calling themselves Antifa and BLM. Don't get it twisted, you are a terrorist when you burn and loot the private property of another. That is fact and no amount of gum running can justify that type of behavior. Millions of dollars in damages as well as businesses lost is NOT guaranteed in the constitution. I have an acquaintance who tries to convince me that most of Antifa is okay. That only a small percentage are the agitators causing the problems. I told him that IF that were in fact the truth then Antifa needs to police their own ranks. It would be to their benefit to not have their message lost in violence and anarchy. Problem is, he, much like Antifa is full of shit. They are nothing more than anarchists, making themselves to be domestic terrorists. Real simple. The original poster never stated ANY fact and/or made any specific statement as to how the bad ol' republicans were taking away anyone's rights. Just general broad brush bullshit propaganda NOT based in reality. I can only guess that republicans are looking to pass legislation that addresses groups (of ANY kind) that seek to destroy property. That isn't taking anyone's rights. Now, I have no doubt that there will be several stupid emails from foul mouthed twelve year olds that feel they are somehow justified in destroying the property of others. That to deny them that is to deny them their rights. Sorry, that isn't reality. IF this gets past the anti-free speech monitors it'll only be a short while before this is flagged off. NEVER allow anyone to speak unless it fills YOUR narrative. Prove me wrong!
