Please join us for our second fundraiser - a single elimination bracket style cornhole tournament at Hourglass Brewery in Longwood, FL. Please join us for our second fundraiser to honor Shelly's legacy. We are hosting a single elimination bracket style cornhole tournament at Hourglass Brewery in Longwood, FL featuring prizes for our top fundraising teams and tournament winners. All proceeds will be used exclusively to support families in need. This will be a fun event for people of all ages (Don't worry if you haven't played before, it's easy to learn on the spot!). The tournament will begin at 11:00am. Hourglass is part of the "Central Florida Ale Trail" and features countless unique beers brewed in their onsite taproom along with plenty of activities to keep you busy between rounds (arcade style games, board games, giant jenga, TVs, and even a new ax throwing room!). Should you get knocked out of the tournament early, you can join the consolation bracket targeted to begin at 1:00pm. The brewery is also home to Wako Taco Mexican restaurant and shares a plaza with Papa Bees Wings for food options during the event. All attendees will be required to adhere to the locally mandated mask policies. The event will be held outdoors and requests appropriate social distancing measures to be followed. All boards and cornhole bags will be sanitized between each game. The entry fee is a minimum donation of $50 per team. However we will be holding an additional contest for the top fundraising teams which will receive first round-byes; the highest fundraising team will receive a $100 gift card to Boxi Park (Lake Nona) and the second place team will receive $50 to our host brewery - Hourglass Brewery. Cash prizes and/or gift cards will be awarded to the top three tournament teams - details to follow soon! Raffle tickets and entry to the consolation bracket will be available for purchase at the event. Our prize, sponsors, and raffles list continues to grow - Two night stay at the Plantation on Crystal River - $400 value - great for those who love to go scalloping; other resort activities include golfing, boat rentals from their marina, paddling, or just enjoying the poolside bar and spa!
