HOOVER, AL — A woman has been identified as the suspect in multiple theft and forgery cases in Hoover. Police say the woman, 50-year-old Rhonda Jean Brown, is wanted on felony charges that include identity theft, possession of forged instrument, forgery, theft of property and unlawful breaking/entering a vehicle. Hoover police say Brown is also wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and the Madison County Sheriff's Office, and is still at large. Brown is accused of forging and cashing checks totaling more than $6,000. Brown was identified after the Hoover PD posted security footage of Brown cashing checks at a Hoover bank: Anyone who knows of Brown's whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama at 205-254-7777 or your local Law Enforcement agency.
