Press release from the Town of Winchester: February 23, 2021 Starting on Wednesday, February 24th, the Town will reverse supply of the East-High water system from the MWRA to the Town's Treatment Plant. The East-High system consists of all streets east of Washington Street, as well as Main Street to the Medford line. During the initial transition from the MWRA water back to the Town's water supply, there may be some changes in water appearance including discoloration. If you experience discolored water, let the cold water run from the lowest point in the house until it clears. Please call the Water & Sewer Department at 781-721-7109 if you have any questions.
