CARETAKER Mature, energetic, self-motivated individual needed for 70 unit condominium complex in the Laurelhurst area of Seattle. Responsibilities/Duties: ♦ Energetic self-starter with hard and efficient work ethic ♦ Anticipation and respond to the needs of the owners and residents ♦ Honest beyond reproach ♦ Maintain a neat appearance ♦ Exude a 'can do' attitude ♦ Upkeep of large complex grounds demonstrating knowledge, experience and education of plants and trees ♦ Mow lawns and edge ♦ Responsible for operating equipment such as blower, weed eater, loppers, pruners, lawn mower, etc. ♦ Janitorial responsibilities e.g. cleaning stairs and stairwells, replace lightbulbs, maintain tennis court power washing as needed, gutter and carport roof cleaning and other tasks as assigned ♦ Pool, cabana, Jacuzzi and spa maintenance and upkeep a must ♦ Maintain and upkeep of restrooms in pool area ♦ Other tasks as assigned Guidelines: • Caretaker shall be discreet at all times in communications with owners, residents, vendors, etc. • Caretaker shall not perform any work within any unit in any building • This job requires the Caretaker to respond to so many different situations (many of which are unpredictable) and to utilize his best judgment at all times.
