Our Maintenance Mechanics: Perform routine repairs and maintenance on plant facilities and equipment. Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance Duties: a. Use hand and power tools to perform basic fabrication and carpentry, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, air conditioning, and plumbing repairs. b. Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and facility as required. c. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. d. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. e. Provide quality customer service to all internal customers. f. Work collaboratively with Machine Operators to diagnose machine maintenance and repairs. g. Involved in continual improvement systems. h. Perform and record scheduled tasks within designated timeline. i. Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Team with special projects as necessary. j. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Additional Maintenance Technician Duties: a. Troubleshoot and support operators on PLC operations, setup, and software programs. b. Specialized in electro-mechanical control systems and sensor/actuator functions. c. Assist engineering team in supporting day to day troubleshooting and design implementation. Additional Senior Maintenance Mechanic Duties: a. Review service requests, determine nature of problems, and direct the team during the performance of the repairs. b. Support and verify Maintenance Mechanics on technical methods and equipment operations during projects and repairs. c. Coordinate the activities of outside contractors. Education/Experience/Skills: · High school diploma · 1-2 years of related experience required · Regularly and repetitively lift 50 pounds and frequently lift 75 pounds, using proper lifting techniques · Able to move freely about the facility, climb stairs, stoop, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods of time up to and over 8 hours a day · Able to work at heights up to 30’ · Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical systems · Possess excellent attention to detail · Able to handle multiple activities · Able to work alone and in teams · Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a multi-task environment · Customer service-oriented approach, respond to requests with a sense of urgency · Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately · Willing to “think outside of the box” and identify process improvement opportunities More About Us: Gensco, Inc. is a successful HVAC wholesale distributor and manufacturer doing business in the Northwest for over 60 years.
