Description

The Housekeeping / Maintenance Worker is responsible for completing all duties assigned to insure a safe, clean, and orderly environment.  Ensure that the inside and outside of the building is clean and functioning.  Clean and conduct Maintenance services in the building.  Empties trash receptacles, separates trash and cardboard into designated dumpsters.  Washes windows, screens, sills, woodwork, doors, desks, walls, ceilings, etc.  Sweep and mop hallways, vacuum carpets, clean and sanitize bathroom and locker rooms.  Shovel snow, clear and salt walkways.  Keep parking lot safe, including but not limited to picking up trash.  Cleans, sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors by hand or machine; cleans carpet, upholstery furniture, etc.  Open / Secure facilities before or after operating hours by locking doors, closing windows and setting up the alarm.  Set up and break down tables, chairs and other equipment requested for use by various groups.  Safely operate all maintenance equipment as needed.  Comply with the organization’s policies and procedures.
