Military Medals Found

From a storage locker. Items have been stored for ten to fifteen years. Property of a Navy Chief Petty Officer. I believe he was stationed in Newport R.I and separated in 2006. Originally, they were found in a vehicle that was repossessed. I have no other information. Again, I have no other information. This is an important task given to me. I take returning this Veterans' medals very seriously. If not to him, to a member of his family. I will require PROOF such as a DD214, pictures and identification from whomever may claim them.
